Sunday 18th September

11.00 am

United Pipers for Peace Parade in honour of

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

The parade will leave Liverpool Road at 11:00 am, turn left onto Deansgate, right onto St. Mary's gate and then right again onto Exchange Street, where it will disperse in an orderly manner in front of the Royal Exchange theatre.

The United Pipers for Peace will subsequently, at an appropriate moment, lay wreaths at the Richard Cobden statue where the floral tributes to the Queen are being laid and then at the Monument in memory of the Manchester Regiment.

Later in the afternoon, once the official commemorations are over, the United Pipers will lay wreaths and 22 red roses at the Glade of Light in memory of the victims of the Manchester Arena bombing.
